Assemblymember Levine Wants to Plan for California’s Future by Investing in Our Parks

(San Rafael, CA) – California State Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-Marin County), Chair of the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee convened an informational hearing entitled, “Investing in California’s Future:  Facilitating Parks and Outdoor Access for All.”  Joined by Assemblymember Edward Garcia (D-Coachella) and a host of park, facility and outdoor experts and advocates, to discuss investing in California’s parks, waterways and open spaces.  Assembly Bill 2444 (E.Garcia), the California Water, Climate, Coastal Protection and Outdoor Access for All Act of 2016 was discussed at length as a means to invest bond money into California’s natural and recreational resources.  Watch this Assembly Access Video to hear from Assemblymember Levine and the other speakers.
