Thursday, March 14, 2013

Sacramento - Petaluma has yet another reason to be proud. It’s very own National Little League players are champions. In 2012, the team placed first in California and the West, second in the nation and third in the world in the Little League World Series. California State Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-San Rafael) honored the Petaluma All-Stars on the Assembly floor with a resolution. “We are all very proud of this team, and their accomplishments on and off the field, “ said Levine. “It was an honor to bring them to the State Capitol to commemorate the players, coaches and families. Petaluma’s strong sense of community, talent and determination were on display in the California State Assembly.” See the presentation and images of the team playing, in this Assembly Access Video.
