(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-Marin County) joined his fellow Democrats in the Assembly to pass House Resolution 15, a measure he co-authored that calls on President Trump to immediately rescind his “Travel Ban” executive order and puts the Assembly on record as rejecting “all of the provisions contained in the executive order…that limit travel and immigration and discontinues the Syrian Refugee program.” “We have seen the consequences of xenophobic immigration policies before,” said Assemblymember Levine referring to restrictions on Jewish immigrants during World War 2.
