Assemblymember Marc Levine Comments on Governor Brown’s May Revise
(Sacramento, CA) – Governor Jerry Brown today released an updated budget proposal, known as the May Revise, formally beginning final negotiations with the Legislature to craft a spending plan by the June 15 constitutional deadline.
Assemblymember Marc Levine, D-Marin County, issued this statement commenting on the proposal:
“True to form, Governor Brown has delivered a thoughtful and prudent proposal to begin our deliberations. I commend him for his focus on financial stability, and for making significant investment in disaster preparedness and wildfire prevention and recovery. I look forward to finalizing another balanced and on-time budget that addresses the priorities and values that my colleagues and I fight for every day.”
Assemblymember Marc Levine represents the 10th Assembly District which includes Marin and Sonoma Counties.
