(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-Marin County) released the following statement regarding AB 725 veto:

“It's disappointing Governor Brown believes that protecting people from the life threatening danger of second hand smoke, and wildlife and our natural environment from poisonous cigarette butts is coercive,” said Assemblymember Marc Levine. “The common person knows these dangers too well, and flippantly dismissing them isn't cool. Even for a governor who is featured in Rolling Stone magazine.”

Assemblymember Marc Levine represents the 10th Assembly District, which includes Marin and Sonoma Counties.
