Assemblymember Levine Comments on Governor Brown’s State of the State Address

Assemblymember Marc Levine (D-Marin County) released the following statement regarding the Governor’s State of the State address this morning:

“We face surmountable challenges in California if we continue governing our state responsibly,” said Assemblymember Levine. “By paying down debt, tackling climate change, investing in education and confronting inequities in society we are ready to take on the uncertainties ahead.”

Assemblymember Levine is the author of AB 79 which would require California to eliminate the use of energy produced from coal-fired power plants.  

Assemblymember Levine is also introducing legislation that will require the State Board of Education to develop curricula to educate California students about Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election.

Assemblymember Levine represents the 10th Assembly District which includes Marin and Sonoma Counties.
